BEET KVAS
A wonderful drink to heal gut issues, nourish the liver and clear your system of present times toxins !
Ingredients: 3 large sized organic beet roots, 1/4 cup whey (either make it yourself with raw milk or buy sachets at an organic store), 1 heaped teaspoon salt , the best water you can get hold of ( see our water blog)
Cut the beet root in cubes and fill into 2 mason jars (a bit more than 3/4 of the jar) add whey water and salt . close the lid and leave at room temperature for 3 days before you put it into the fridge. start drinking it after another 3-4 days .Have a small glass before your main meals ( about 50ml )
You can make a second less potent brew with the same beetroot with just refilling the jar with water.
