Calendula

Calendula officinalis

If you ever collected freshly opened calendula flowers, as we do for our calendula skin oil,

You soon notice the resin collecting on your fingertips, alerting us to its hidden properties offering strong healing for lymph and digestion too. Taking it internally is another way of Supporting these pathways. Its vulnerary antifungal antibacterial qualities make it a first-aid oil for all kinds of skin issues.
Energetically it belongs to the sun, solar plexus, immunity and is warming in our system.
Calendula has been one of the first plants we started working with.
We include it in our Cup of Tea blend as well. The petals go into our daily Wild Weed Salad.

Chickweed

Stellaria media

With its cooling and softening actions, it helps with hot states in body and organ systems, as in a bladder infection or for dissolving cysts. It supports the uptake of nutrients and is another staple in our Wild Weed Salad. The infused vinegar is great in food and as a healing drink with warm water and honey.
Energetically it belongs to the moon and Venus is a moist salty nutritive cooling little creature.
Its spirit speaks of overcoming thinking of oneself as small. No more teachers needed, opening for direct spirit guide connection, being at the pulse of things.

Cleavers

Galium aparine

Cleavers is one of the best herbs to support lymphatic health. We made a Lymphatic massage oil with sesame oil for daily self- massage. Sesame oil is traditionally used in Ayurveda as it helps to reduce Ama (Phlegm) from the body.
Energetically it’s the sister of chickweed being related to the moon and venus and again moist, nutritive especially for hair skin and nails with its mineral content.
