ORGAN BREATH SOUND HEALING MEDITATION / QI KUNG PRACTISE
Warming up phase
Stand comfortably feet shoulder width apart Let the feet sink into the ground, make conscious contact with the ground. Our feet are as sensitive as our hands, allow to touch the earth with love and reference. Kidney meridian point 1 is underneath our soles, called the bubbling spring, being the gate through which the abundance of energy from the earth enters our being. Relax, take deeper breaths, and start shaking the whole body in a gentle way starting from your pelvis, this will open up the qi flow. Let that go and start swinging your arms from side to side while letting the body twist with it at the hips, again the movement starts from the pelvis/hips. Allow the hands to gentle land (and tap) onto kidneys, move them higher to tap on lung 1 point and even further up on to the neck. Slowly go down again and let it go.
Organ Breath
Take a deep breath and with soft arms and relaxed hands move them down in front of you and allow to pick up the energy from the ground (earth /source) , moving up through your feet and up your legs towards your lungs. (The fingers are forming something like a parcel, as if you could hold on to that invisible energy threads pulling up silk strands or soft dough) At the end of the in breath let your palms face the lungs. (Metal element). On the out breath move the palms outward facing away from the lungs while making the lung sound ‘SSSSSSSS’. Do that two more times. On the next in breath you bring the energy towards your liver (Wood element). The liver likes to be cradled like a babe, so do that on the out breath with the sound ‘SHOOOO’. Do two more times. On the next in breath come up to your kidneys (Water element). Either hold them in your lower back or form cups with both hands sitting on your hip at both sides, gentle shaking is nice for the kidneys while making the sound ‘TSCHU-EEE’. Two more times. Next is the stomach breathing in and out with the hands pushing out in front of the stomach (Earth element), this time palms facing the body with the out breath make the deep sound HUUUUUH. Two more times. Last is the heart (Fire element). On the out breath move the hands as if are sharing your love or alternatively you can cover your heart with both hands, making the sound ‘HAAAAA’. Two more times.
Goodness:
This practice works in a multi-dimensional way, feeding the organs with energy, activating and stimulating meridian pathways , Qi flow and Wei Qi strength. With the out breath and movement we energise our biofield and strengthen our natural healthy boundaries. It also gives us a direct feedback on how the energy is going that day through the clarity or inhibition showing in the voice (no judgment).Using our own voice as a healing tool will prepare us for expressing our feelings in an easier and more authentic way. But iit is in itself already a gentle way of releasing the emotions from the different organ systems.
